Fire breaks out at Slavneft–Yanos oil refinery, kills 1 person

VORONEZH, Nov 1 (PRIME) – One employee was killed and one injured by a fire that broke out at Slavneft-Yanos oil refinery of oil company Slavneft, a representative of the Yaroslavl Region’s Emergency Ministry told PRIME on Wednesday.

The fire broke out at the third atmospheric vacuum distillation unit of the refinery on 3.35 p.m. Moscow time, and it was put out on 5.07 p.m.

The impact of the incident on operations of the refinery is unclear.
